- landed Thursday evening at Redding… barely made our LA layover
- rented some cross country skies next morning for the weekend
- ate about a pound of peanut m&m
- went x country skiing at Lassen Friday afternoon. Lots of snow fall and great warm up
- Friday evening we went to a brewery for drinks and dinner, hostess was Stan’s grand daughter
- had a delish frittata from Dell and Brian on Saturday
- Saturday we went to Shasta for more cross country skiing. Again amazing powder and views. Did a little hors piste
- had the notorious Dell and Brian salad for dinner. Along with Maura’s Espresso Martinis
- Sunday we went back to Lassen and skied much further. We got close to the base of the chaos jumbles (or maybe chaos lumps?). Warmer and sunnier weather with sticky snow.
- Sunday had dinner and pints at the recently opened Pipeline brewer (after trying on Friday, but had a huge wait)
- watched the first episode of mobland Sunday evening
- whatcha USA beat Canada in hockey for the Olympic gold early Sunday morning
- Monday we returned our skies, walked on the sundial bridge, and then packed up for the Redding airport
- decided our next adventure could be Sturgeon getton in Wisconsin in Feb. we also will join the Ireland Winter Olympics team, cross country skiing might be the most appropriate sport. Happy girl run at crater lake.
- saw some turkey. Gobble gobble
- talked about horse ridding. Gary running the Redding airport
