Camping

For the last for four days my mum and I were camping in Peninsula State Parl in Door County, Wisconsin. We went with mum's friends the Haanio's. It was a lot of fun setting up camp, I pitched the tent for the first time. The first couple of days we cycled to the beach and even went kayacking. The park is beautiful, right on Green Bay, there are lots of animals and we even had our brownies stolen by a cheeky raccoon that we called the Brownie Bandit. On Saturday evening we had the traditional fish boil, this is where potatoes and fish are boiled over a log fire until cooked. It was yummy.

Le bal a Karloo

Eh oui le bal de fin d'annee pour Karl avait lieu ce week end et nous avons du aider grand frere nageur a preparer ce moment inoubliable pour celebrer l'arrivee tres prochaine des grandes vacances!

D'abord il faut choisir un costume puis de belles chaussures, et ensuite une belle cravatte pour etre tres chic. Apres avoir longtemps hesite entre YSL et Gucci le choix fut finalement celui d'une cravatte Hermes qu'un ami tres sympa faisant du shopping a Paris apres avoir celebre le debarquement nous avais apporte. Vient ensuite les fleurs a cueillir aupres d'un fleuriste pour decorer la robe de la bella. Voila les preparatifs....Ensuite ce fut sequence photos et tel un paparazzi j'ai pu photographier pour nos chers lecteurs des sequences de poses au bord d'un lac. Voila les resultats.

Food Drive

A couple of days ago, my school collected cans of food for the food pantry for the poor here in Arlington Heights. Then when we had a lot of cans (over 2,000), we lined up from our school to the Wheeling township building (who distribute the food) and passed the cans from one person to another. While we did this a helicopter from tv channel 7 hovered above us and teachers filmed us. It was a fun way to deliver the food that we had collected.
