Yesterday (Tuesday, March 23), me and my friend Nick went to visit the Shedd Aquarium. We took the train on a beautiful day to Chicago. When we arrived, we visited the French Market, which has just opened, in the station. It contained a variety of cheeses, fruits & vegetables, patisseries, and some products. Then we took the 14 bus to the aquarium. The Shedd seemed very popular for something to do during spring break, it was packed. After about 10 minutes of waiting we got our tickets. We first visited the "Caribbean Reef" were I found one of my favorite animals, the green sea turtle. There were many other impressive fish like the sting ray. Then we went to watch a 4-D movie which was amazing. In the introduction there was a man who spat water on the screen, a little bit of water came to your face and when you saw a long stick coming at you, you felt a bump on your back. After the movie, we wen t to watch the "Fantasea" show. It included Beluga Whales, Penguins, Hawks, and Dolphins. It showed the story of Beluga Whale brought to Chicago from Connecticut by FedEx. We ended by looking around at other interesting fish Like sea horses and under sea water snakes.
